Yoga and Mindfulness Training for Children
Today, more than ever, external stimulation is shaping who students becoming as learners. It is critical that educators help children discover the power they have within to control who they become. Introducing yoga and mindfulness to students not only helps them learn self-regulation, but also provides strategies to support sustained focus. Another great benefit is the ability to rely on ones own self to find the courage to take on challenges or the peace needed to rise above situations. In order for students to function in the 21st century, they must learn to manage stress and anxiety, listen attentively to others' ideas, and free their minds from distractions so they can be more creative. We must acknowledge that a child's state of mind truly matters.
From individual and group instruction in an academic setting, to personalized programs for student athletes and organizations, I will create the workshop, intensive or series that meets the specific needs of your students.
